Network Topic

   Network எனப்படுவது ஒன்று அல்லது ஒன்றுக்கும் மேற்பட்ட கணினிகளை இணைப்பது ஆகும். Network இன்மூலம் தகவலை இன்னோர் கணினிக்கு அனுப்பலாம், பெற்றுக்கொள்ளலாம்.

நமது கணினியில் உள்ள Printer, CD- Drive போன்ற வன்பொருட்களை மற்றைய கணினியில் பயன் படுத்தக்கோடியவாறு அமைக்கலாம்.

              Network ஆனது ஒரு குறித்த அறையினிலோ அல்லது அலுவலகத்திலோ அமைக்கப்படலாம்

 

         A network is any collection of independent computers that communicate with one another over a shared network medium.

 

Local Area Network (LAN)

 

         Local Area Network usually confined to a geographic  area, Such As a single building or a college. LAN can be small linking as few as three computers, But often link hundreds of computers. 

 

Metropolition Area Network (MAN)

        Man is basically a bigger resin of a lan and normally uses similar technology. It might corner a group of near by corporate offices or a city and might be either private or public  

Wide Area Network (WAN)

        Often a network is located in multiple physical places. Wide area networking combines multiple lanes that are geographically separate. This is accomplished by connecting the different lens using service, Such as a dedicated leased phone lines, Dial-up phone line C Both synchronous and asynchronous satellite links, and data packet carer services.
